Privacy Policy

Effective October 14, 2026. This policy explains what the American Ranking Institute collects when you visit americanrankinginstitute.org or write to us, and what we do with it. The short version: very little, and we never sell it.

What we collect

  • Messages you send us. Our contact form opens your own email app, so anything you send arrives as an ordinary email: your address, your name if you include it, and the contents of your message.
  • Basic technical logs. Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard request data (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
  • Nothing else. We have no accounts, no checkout, and we collect no payment information.

Cookies

This site sets only strictly necessary cookies from Cloudflare for security and bot protection. We run no advertising trackers and no cross-site tracking cookies. If we ever add analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this policy and post a notice on the site before they start, and ask for consent where the law requires it.

How we use information

  • To reply to inquiries, including advertising and partnership requests.
  • To operate, secure and improve the site and its rankings content.

Sharing

We share data only with the service providers who run the site: Cloudflare (hosting and security) and Google (email). We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Links to other sites

Rankings link out to manufacturers and retailers, including Amazon. Once you leave our site, that site's own privacy policy governs what it collects. See our Affiliate Disclosure for how outbound links may earn us a commission.

Your rights

You may ask us what correspondence of yours we hold, and ask us to delete it, at any time by writing to [email protected]. California residents have the same rights under the CCPA/CPRA; because we never sell or share personal information, no opt-out link is required, but the same inbox reaches us for any request.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
