Best Office Headsets — Top 10

An office headset succeeds or fails at the microphone. Your callers do not hear your noise-canceling earcups; they hear whatever your boom lets through from the kitchen, the dog and the open-plan floor. The verifiable separators in this category are therefore microphone systems — beamforming arrays, Poly's Acoustic Fence, Yealink's Acoustic Shield — and platform certification: a Teams- or Zoom-certified SKU is a specification a vendor has had tested, not a claim it has merely printed.

We screened about twenty current US models and ranked ten on microphone noise rejection, call audio, long-wear comfort and certification first, then owner satisfaction, value, and company accountability — warranty length, published support contacts and parts discipline. Wired, Bluetooth and DECT models compete together; gaming headsets are out, and earbuds are excluded by design even when they are marketed for calls, with the boundary marked in the screened pool.

Poly Voyager 4320-M (No Stand)
The value near-miss: 24-hour talk time and Acoustic Fence at $144.99 from HP's US store, but no ANC for the wearer and a narrower 100 Hz–6.8 kHz microphone. The Yealink BH74 beats it on ANC, battery and bundled stand at nearly the same money.
Poly$14575
Jabra Engage 55 Stereo (USB-A, UC)
Excellent DECT performance (up to 490 ft range, DECT Security Level C, 83 g), but B&H now lists the SKU as no longer available and other US listings run to $408.99 — no stable standard US price could be anchored this session, and 13-hour talk time trails the Bluetooth tier.
Jabra$31874
Dell Pro Wireless ANC Headset (WL5024)
Certified for Teams (Open Office) and Zoom with hybrid ANC and up to 34 hours of talk time at $229.99 (Insight). Cut on evidence depth: a thinner independent owner record than the ranked brands, and a Dell-ecosystem management story that travels less well outside Dell fleets.
Dell$23073
EPOS ADAPT 560 II
Maker MSRP $329 (US street listings scatter far higher, to $436). A competent older design — Bluetooth 5.0, a two-microphone folding boom — that EPOS's own IMPACT 1061 ANC supersedes on microphones, connectivity and stand bundling.
EPOS$32972
Logitech Zone Vibe Wireless
Light and inexpensive with Teams certification, but there is no ANC and the flip-down microphone is a step below the boom systems ranked here on noise rejection. Fine for quiet homes; not for open offices.
Logitech$11071
Yealink WH64 Hybrid Dual (UC)
The stereo sibling of the ranked WH64 Mono: same DECT-plus-Bluetooth design, but $23 more at the same retailer and 151 g against the mono's 92 g. One WH64 took the family slot, and the mono is the more distinctive DECT buy.
Yealink$14570
Poly Voyager 5200 UC
A proven mono earpiece for mobile callers (WindSmart, four-mic noise canceling), but seven hours of talk time, a micro-USB-era design and a single-ear fit make it a travel accessory next to the all-day desk headsets ranked here.
Poly$13069
Logitech Zone 305
Logitech's mass-deployment model (listed at $59.99–$84.99 depending on receiver). Certified and cheap, but no ANC and a basic two-mic system put its call ceiling well below the ranked tier.
Logitech$8566
Jabra Evolve2 Buds (MS, USB-C)
SCOPE CUT — earbuds. Genuinely capable for calls (MultiSensor Voice, Teams certification, ANC) and popular with headset-averse workers, but this category excludes earbuds even when they are marketed for calls, so the strongest earbud we screened is listed here to mark the boundary.
Jabra$36463
Microsoft Modern Wireless Headset
Cut on eligibility: a well-liked Teams-certified headset at its $99.99 launch MSRP, but Microsoft has discontinued it and no current new-unit US retail source was found this session. Price shown is the last published MSRP, flagged as historical.

Jabra Evolve2 75 (MS, USB-A, No Stand)

AmRank Score 91 $339

Best for: Open-office and hybrid workers who need the strongest verified microphone noise rejection in a wireless stereo headset, and are willing to pay for it.

Stereo on-ear · Bluetooth 5.2Teams-certified (MS variant)8-mic beamforming · adjustable ANCUp to 36 h music · 24 h talkNo charging stand in this SKU

Product review

The Evolve2 75 is ranked first on the strength of its microphone system: eight microphones with beamforming, a hide-away boom for calls, and adjustable ANC for the wearer, in a Teams-certified variant that Jabra positions for Microsoft's open-office requirements. Talk time is rated up to 24 hours with ANC and busylight off, music time up to 36 hours, and a 15-minute fast charge returns about four hours. It is not cheap, and the ranked $339.00 SKU excludes the charging stand — but for call quality in a noisy room, nothing else screened matched its combination of mic array, certification and battery.

The company

Jabra is the enterprise headset brand of GN, the Danish audio group behind the Evolve and Engage lines used in large office deployments. The Evolve2 75 carries a two-year warranty, and Jabra publishes a US product-support line (1-866-697-8757) on its own store-support pages; support email is handled by web form, so none is listed.

Pros
  • Eight-microphone beamforming array is the largest mic system in this ranking
  • Teams-certified MS variant; adjustable ANC plus a hide-away boom
  • Up to 24 hours of talk time and a 15-minute fast charge worth about four hours
Cons
  • The priciest headset in this ranking before stands and accessories
  • On-ear cushions warm up over very long sessions
  • Charging stand and wireless charging pad are separate purchases on this SKU

#2AmRank Top Pick \u2014 American Ranking Institute award badge

Poly Voyager Focus 2 (USB-C, with Charging Stand)

AmRank Score 89 $225

Best for: Callers in shared spaces who want Poly's Acoustic Fence voice isolation and a charging stand in the box, for well under the flagship tier's price.

Stereo on-ear · Bluetooth 5.1UC version · Zoom certifiedAcoustic Fence mic · hybrid ANCUp to 25 h talk (ANC off)Charging stand included

Product review

The Voyager Focus 2 pairs three levels of hybrid ANC for the wearer with Acoustic Fence on the microphone side — a multi-mic system that treats the area in front of the boom as the only zone callers should hear. HP's current US listing rates talk time up to 25 hours with ANC off and 40 hours of listening, includes the BT700 USB-C adapter and, in this ranked SKU, the charging stand. It gives up some speaker size and the newest Bluetooth version to the Jabra above it, but at $224.99 from HP's own store it is the strongest value in the premium tier.

The company

Poly is HP's headset and conferencing brand, formed from Plantronics and Polycom. HP sells the Voyager Focus 2 direct in the US, backs it with Poly's standard two-year limited warranty, and publishes an HP store support line (888-860-9635) on the product page; no support email is published, so none is listed.

Pros
  • Acoustic Fence microphone zoning is genuinely effective in shared rooms
  • Three ANC levels, smart sensors and a Dynamic Mute Alert
  • HP's own US store price includes the charging stand at $224.99
Cons
  • 32 mm speakers are tuned for voice, not music depth
  • Talk-time figures differ between HP's current page (25 h, ANC off) and older Poly datasheets (19 h)
  • On-ear fit and sling headband will not suit every head shape

#3

Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex (MS, USB-C)

AmRank Score 88 $277

Best for: Commuters and frequent travelers who want a full office headset that folds flat into a pouch instead of filling a bag.

Stereo on-ear · folds flatTeams-certified (MS variant)Hybrid ANC · 6-mic ClearVoice136 g · 28 mm speakersUp to 20 h talk (ANC off)

Product review

The 65 Flex does the Evolve2 75's job in a 136 g frame that folds flat: hybrid ANC, a six-microphone ClearVoice system on a retractable boom, a 360-degree busylight, and Teams certification on the ranked MS variant with a USB-C Link 380 adapter. Jabra rates talk time up to 20 hours with ANC off. It concedes driver size and some ANC-on endurance to its bigger sibling, and the folding hinges are one more moving part — but no other ranked headset disappears into a laptop bag this completely.

The company

Jabra (GN) backs the Evolve2 65 Flex with a two-year warranty and publishes a US product-support line (1-866-697-8757) on its store-support pages; support email is web-form only, so none is listed. The Flex is the travel branch of the Evolve2 family, built around a hinged, collapsible frame.

Pros
  • Folds flat into its pouch — the only truly travel-sized stereo pick here
  • Hybrid ANC and a six-mic ClearVoice boom at 136 g
  • Teams-certified variant with USB-C dongle in the box
Cons
  • Smaller 28 mm speakers sound thinner than the Evolve2 75's 40 mm drivers
  • Talk time drops to about 15 hours with ANC on
  • The wireless charging pad is not included in this SKU, despite Qi support

#4

EPOS IMPACT 1061 ANC (UC, with Charging Stand)

AmRank Score 87 $294

Best for: Dense open offices that want triple-device connectivity, super-wideband call audio and a contactless charging stand as standard.

Stereo on-ear · Bluetooth 5.3UC certified · super-wideband3-mic pickup · adaptive hybrid ANCUp to 20 h talk · 55 h listenCharging stand included

Product review

The IMPACT 1061 ANC is EPOS's open-office flagship in this ranking: a three-microphone boom with EPOS's AI-assisted voice pickup, hybrid adaptive ANC, super-wideband audio, and multipoint connectivity to three devices — one more than most rivals manage. The 1061 SKU includes the contactless charging stand, and battery ratings run to 20 hours of talk and 55 hours of listening. The UC variant ranked here is certified across Zoom, Google Meet, Webex and similar platforms; a separate Teams-certified 1061T variant exists and is not the ranked SKU.

Color Options

The company

EPOS is Demant's enterprise audio brand, built on the former Sennheiser communications business. It publishes a support email ([email protected]) in its enterprise support materials and a two-year warranty across the IMPACT line; no US support phone is published on EPOS's own pages, so none is listed.

Pros
  • Three-device multipoint is the best connectivity count in the ranking
  • Super-wideband audio with a three-mic boom and adaptive ANC
  • Contactless charging stand is bundled, not an accessory upsell
Cons
  • US street pricing is volatile — the Teams variant has swung between roughly $209 and $348 on Amazon in 2026
  • On-ear leatherette cushions can feel warm in summer offices
  • EPOS Connect software is one more management app for IT to run

#5

Logitech Zone Wireless 2 (with Receiver)

AmRank Score 86 $250

Best for: Professionals who want one headset certified across Teams, Zoom and Google Meet, with a replaceable battery and earpads for a longer service life.

Stereo on-ear · Bluetooth 5.2Teams · Zoom · Meet certified4 noise-canceling mics · hybrid ANCUp to 15 h talk (ANC on)Replaceable battery + earpads

Product review

Zone Wireless 2 is Logitech's two-way noise answer: four noise-canceling microphones and AI suppression clean up what callers hear, hybrid ANC and an Advanced Call Clarity mode clean up what the wearer hears, and the certifications are the broadest here — Microsoft Teams (with a premium microphone for open office), Zoom, Google Meet and Google Voice. The ranked SKU is the version with the USB-C receiver. Its accountability case is helped by design: the battery and earpads are replaceable, which few rivals offer.

The company

Logitech is the largest maker in this ranking, with a two-year limited hardware warranty on the Zone Wireless 2 and a business support operation run through its website and Logi Tune/Sync platforms. Logitech does not publish a support email or a general US support phone for this product, so both fields are blank rather than filled from third-party directories.

Pros
  • Certified for Teams, Zoom, Google Meet and Google Voice in one SKU
  • Far-end noise suppression (Advanced Call Clarity) is a feature rivals lack
  • Replaceable battery and earpads extend the service life
Cons
  • At 230 g it is the heaviest stereo headset in the ranking
  • Talk time (15 h with ANC on) trails the Yealink and Jabra picks
  • Advanced Call Clarity shortens talk time further, to about 12 hours with ANC on

Yealink BH74 (with Charging Stand) product photo
#6The Buck4Buck — best value in this category, American Ranking Institute award badge

Yealink BH74 (with Charging Stand)

AmRank Score 84 $149

Best for: Battery-anxious hybrid workers who want hybrid ANC, a charging stand and two full workdays of talk time for under $150.

Stereo on-ear · Bluetooth 5.3Teams Premium Open Office certified6-mic Acoustic Shield 3.0 · hybrid ANCUp to 32 h talk · 65 h musicCharging stand included

Product review

The BH74 is the value disruption in this ranking: six microphones running Yealink's Acoustic Shield 3.0, hybrid ANC, dual busylights, up to 32 hours of talk time and 65 hours of music, in a 152 g on-ear frame that Yealink certifies for Microsoft Teams Premium Open Office on the Teams variant. The ranked US retail SKU bundles the BHC74 charging stand and the BT51C dongle at $149.00 — roughly half the money of the ANC tier above it, with battery life that beats all of them.

Color Options
Black

The company

Yealink is a Xiamen-based UC hardware maker whose headsets are distributed widely in the US through specialist retailers. The BH74 carries a two-year manufacturer warranty per retailer spec tables, and support runs through Yealink's ticket system and its US retail partners; Yealink publishes no US support phone or email for this product, so both fields are blank.

Pros
  • Up to 32 hours of talk time is the best figure in this ranking
  • Six-mic Acoustic Shield 3.0 plus hybrid ANC at a mid-range price
  • Charging stand and USB dongle are bundled in the ranked SKU
Cons
  • The ranked retailer's listing does not isolate the UC versus Teams variant on the page — confirm the variant at checkout
  • 152 g on-ear frame still presses over very long days
  • Yealink's US support is ticket-based rather than a published phone line

Yealink WH64 Hybrid Mono (UC, DECT Dongle) product photo
#7The Buck Blazer \u2014 lowest price in this category, American Ranking Institute award badge

Yealink WH64 Hybrid Mono (UC, DECT Dongle)

AmRank Score 82 $122

Best for: Desk workers who want DECT's long range and density handling in a light mono headset, without paying for a base station.

Mono on-ear · DECT + Bluetooth 5.2UC version (Teams variant exists)3-mic noise cancellationUp to 150 m DECT rangeWDD60 dongle · no stand

Product review

The WH64 Hybrid Mono replaces the traditional DECT base with a small WDD60 USB dongle: DECT's up-to-150 m range and high-density reliability for the desk connection, Bluetooth 5.2 for a phone, and a three-microphone noise-canceling boom, in a 92 g mono frame. It is the only DECT model to make the top ten, because it is the only one with a stable, current US price well under $200 — the premium DECT competition screened well on performance but failed on price stability (see the cut list).

Color Options
Black

The company

Yealink builds the WH64 around a DECT dongle rather than a desk base, which keeps its US street price low. Support is ticket-based through Yealink and its retail partners, with no published US support phone or email for this model. US listings disagree on the warranty term for this SKU (one year appears in several), so no warranty claim is made in this record — see the dossier flags.

Pros
  • DECT range up to 150 m far exceeds any Bluetooth pick here
  • 92 g mono frame is the lightest headband headset in the ranking
  • Dongle-based DECT avoids the cost and desk space of a base station
Cons
  • Mono coverage leaves call audio in one ear only — some users never adapt
  • Talk time is shorter in DECT mode than in Bluetooth mode
  • No charging stand or base in this SKU; charging is by cable

Shokz OpenComm2 UC 2025 Upgrade (USB-A Adapter)

AmRank Score 80 $200

Best for: Workers who cannot tolerate anything on or in their ears, and who need to hear the room while they are on a call.

Open-ear bone conduction · 35 gZoom certified (with Loop120)DSP noise-canceling boom micUp to 16 h talk timeUSB-C charging · IP55

Product review

The OpenComm2 UC 2025 Upgrade sits entirely off the ear: seventh-generation bone conduction leaves both ears open, while a rotating boom with DSP noise cancellation does the call work, and the included Loop120 USB adapter makes the headset and adapter a Zoom-certified pair per Shokz's own FAQ. At 35 g it is less than a quarter of the weight of the lightest headband pick here. The trade is fixed — no seal means no isolation — so it ranks as the specialist it is, not as a general replacement for the ANC tier.

Color Options
Black

The company

Shokz is the bone-conduction specialist formerly known as AfterShokz. The OpenComm2 UC 2025 Upgrade carries a two-year warranty on Shokz's own store, and Shokz publishes a support email ([email protected]) in its own product FAQs; no US support phone is published, so none is listed.

Pros
  • Nothing touches the ear canal or covers the ear — all-day comfort for glasses wearers
  • 35 g is by far the lightest option in the ranking
  • Zoom-certified headset-and-adapter pairing with a physical mute button
Cons
  • Bone conduction cannot match a sealed earcup for inbound call clarity in loud rooms
  • No ANC — by design, the room stays audible
  • 16 hours of talk time is mid-pack, and listening time is shorter than talk time

#9

Poly Blackwire 8225 (USB-C)

AmRank Score 78 $122

Best for: Desk-bound callers who want real hybrid ANC and Acoustic Fence microphone isolation without batteries, pairing or charging.

Wired USB-C · stereo on-earUC version (Teams variant exists)Hybrid ANC · Acoustic Fence micNo battery · plug-and-playUSB-C/A adapter included

Product review

The 8225 is the wired flagship of the Blackwire range: hybrid ANC with three levels for the wearer, an Acoustic Fence noise-canceling boom for callers, and dynamic EQ that retunes between voice and music — all over a USB-C cable with a USB-C/A adapter in the box, at 186 g. Wired removes every battery and pairing failure mode, which is why a corded model still earns a top-ten place in 2026; it ranks below the wireless tier because its job is narrower, not because its call audio is weaker.

Color Options
Black

The company

Poly (HP) backs the Blackwire 8225 with its standard two-year limited warranty, and HP publishes a store support line (888-860-9635) on its Poly product pages; no support email is published, so none is listed. The Blackwire line is Poly's wired desk range, managed through Poly Lens like its wireless models.

Pros
  • Hybrid ANC and Acoustic Fence at the lowest price in this ranking
  • No battery to age, charge or die mid-call
  • Light (186 g) with an adjustable headband for all-day desk wear
Cons
  • The cable defines the job — this is a desk headset, full stop
  • ANC needs USB power, so it only works while plugged in
  • The ranked price is a specialist retailer's; HP's own US pricing for this SKU runs higher

Jabra Evolve2 40 SE (MS, USB-A, Stereo) product photo
#10

Jabra Evolve2 40 SE (MS, USB-A, Stereo)

AmRank Score 76 $152

Best for: Budget-conscious desk workers who want Jabra's three-microphone call quality and a busylight, and do not need wireless or ANC.

Wired USB-A · stereo on-earTeams-certified (MS variant)3-mic call technology40 mm speakers · passive isolation360° busylight

Product review

The Evolve2 40 SE keeps the parts of the Evolve formula that matter at a desk — three-microphone call technology that meets Microsoft's open-office requirements on the Teams variant, 40 mm speakers, memory-foam cushions with an angled earcup design for passive isolation, and a 360-degree busylight — and drops the wireless radio and ANC to hold a street price near $150. It is the honest budget pick: everything it omits is visible in the specification, and nothing it claims needs a battery.

Color Options
Black

The company

Jabra (GN) backs the Evolve2 40 SE with a two-year warranty and publishes a US product-support line (1-866-697-8757) on its store-support pages; support email is web-form only, so none is listed. The SE is the cost-reduced revision of the Evolve2 40, Jabra's entry wired office headset.

Pros
  • Three-mic call quality and open-office performance at a wired price
  • 40 mm speakers are larger than most budget rivals' drivers
  • Busylight and boom-arm mute usually only appear a tier up
Cons
  • Passive isolation only — there is no ANC at this price
  • US pricing is scattered, from about $152 to $188 depending on the seller
  • The boom wears on the right side only, unlike ambidextrous rivals

Jabra Evolve2 40 SE (MS, USB-A, Stereo)

The verdict

The Jabra Evolve2 75 wins because it pairs the strongest verified microphone system in the field — eight beamforming microphones behind a hide-away boom, on a Teams-certified variant — with adjustable ANC and 24-hour talk time, for hybrid workers whose rooms are never quiet. The field's lesson is that the boom is the product: every headset in the top five carries a multi-microphone system and a named platform certification, and every model that asked buyers to trust an unadorned claim fell behind. If the price stings, the Yealink BH74 delivers hybrid ANC, a six-mic array and a charging stand for $149.00.

Questions, answered

What does Teams or Zoom certification actually guarantee?

That the platform vendor has verified the headset's call controls, audio performance and, on Teams variants, the dedicated Teams button behavior. It is a verifiable specification, not a marketing adjective — which is why this ranking states the exact certification per SKU. A UC variant of the same headset usually sounds identical; it simply lacks the certified platform integration.

Bluetooth or DECT — which should I choose?

Bluetooth for most hybrid workers: it pairs with laptop and phone, and the ranked models reach 30–50 m. DECT, represented here by the Yealink WH64, trades phone pairing convenience for up to 150 m of range and better behavior in dense offices where dozens of headsets share a floor. Choose DECT if you walk far from your desk on calls or work in a headset-dense office.

Why are earbuds excluded, even the ones sold for work calls?

Scope, stated openly: this ranking covers headsets with a headband or a boom-led design worn for a full workday. Earbuds — including capable, certified models like the Jabra Evolve2 Buds in our screened pool — solve a different wearing problem, with different microphone geometry and battery trade-offs, so they are listed in the cut list rather than ranked.

Do I need the charging stand?

No. Every wireless pick here charges by USB-C cable. A stand is a desk-convenience and storage purchase; where a ranked price includes one (Poly Voyager Focus 2, EPOS IMPACT 1061 ANC, Yealink BH74) the record says so, and where it does not (Jabra Evolve2 75 and 65 Flex) that is stated too, so the prices compare honestly.

Mono or stereo for a full day of calls?

Stereo if you also listen to music, need ANC, or take calls in a noisy room — two earcups are how the ranked ANC models isolate you. Mono, like the Yealink WH64, keeps one ear on the room, runs lighter (92 g), and suits people who are interrupted in person all day. Neither is better in the abstract; the wearing day decides.
