Top 10 Robot Lawn Mowers — Top 10

Robot mowers have quietly split into two eras. The wire-guided generation — bury a perimeter cable, then watch the mower wander randomly inside it — is being cleared out at clearance prices, while every model in this ranking navigates by satellite RTK, LiDAR or camera vision: no wire to bury, and a map you edit in an app instead of with a shovel. The differences that decide real yards are less photogenic: slope ratings at the boundary as well as mid-lawn, what happens to navigation under a big oak, how long a charge actually lasts, and whether anyone answers the phone in year three. We scored ten wire-free mowers you can buy in the US today on performance, company accountability, owner satisfaction and value, checking every price and buy link at the seller's own page.

Worx Landroid Vision Cloud WR340
Verified live at Home Depot ($2,069.99) with genuinely modern hardware — cloud RTK plus vision, a bundled cut-to-edge trimmer, and the strongest big-box retail footprint in the pool. Cut on merit: two-wheel drive, a 30% slope rating and a 75-minute runtime are a class behind the ranked AWD and LiDAR models, and every ranked slot it could take is held by a mower that climbs better or runs longer.
Worx$2,07071
ECOVACS GOAT O1000 LiDAR Pro
ECOVACS' smaller LiDAR mower, on sale at $949 on ecovacs.com during this pass. The navigation is sound, but front-wheel drive, a quarter-acre class ceiling and a weaker deck are outclassed at similar money by the ranked Navimow i210 AWD — and the GOAT family's ranked slot is held by the stronger A3000.
ECOVACS$94968
Husqvarna Automower 115H
The previous generation on clearance: Husqvarna's dealer portal lists a $299.99 MSRP (down from $700) for this 0.4-acre boundary-wire mower. It is cheap and dealer-backed, but it buries a perimeter wire, mows in a random pattern and carries a 30% slope rating — the technology this ranking's wire-free field has replaced. A fair budget buy; not a top-10 mower in 2026.
Husqvarna$30063
Kress RTKn KR174
Commercial-grade network-RTK mower sold exclusively through Kress dealers; no published US consumer price exists, which fails AmRank's stated-price rule for ranking. The hardware is strong (including dead-reckoning backup when satellites drop), but pricing opacity and a thin US consumer owner base hold it in the pool.
KressDealer quote only62
Dreame Roboticmower A2
Dreame's first-generation LiDAR mower earns strong reviews in Europe, but Dreame's US yard-care store sells only the A3 line — there is no US-purchasable source for the A2, so it cannot be ranked under AmRank's buy-link rule. Its successor, the A3 AWD Pro 3500, ranks #4.
DreameNot sold in the US61
Mowrator S1 4WD
Scope cut: the S1 is a capable remote-controlled slope mower (from $2,849 on mowrator.com), but it is driven by hand on every pass — no autonomous navigation, mapping or scheduling — so it is not a robot mower in this category's sense. Scored as a robot mower, it lands last in the pool.

Mammotion LUBA 2 AWD 5000X

AmRank Score 86 $2,999

Best for: Large, steep or rough lawns up to 1.25 acres, where all-wheel drive and a wide dual-disc deck matter more than a low price

RTK + AI vision, no boundary wireUp to 1.25 acres80% (38.6°) max slope · AWD190 min per charge15.7-in dual cutting discs

Product review

The LUBA 2 AWD is the power pick in this field: all-wheel drive rated for 80% slopes, a 165W dual-disc deck 15.7 inches wide, and RTK positioning backed by AI vision so it holds its line under trees. It auto-maps without any wire and manages up to 50 zones, and the 5000X version ranked here cuts 1.0–2.7 inches high.

The company

Mammotion is a robotics company founded in Shenzhen (a 2022 spin-off from AgileX Robotics) with a US base in Chino, California, selling wire-free mowers across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. It publishes a North America support hotline and email and covers the LUBA 2 with a 3-year warranty and 30-day returns.

Pros
  • All-wheel drive with an 80% slope rating and 3.2 in obstacle clearance — the strongest traction package here
  • 190-minute runtime and up to 1.25 acres mowed per day
  • GPS tracking, geofence alerts and a lost mode, plus an AirTag holder
  • 3-year warranty with published US support phone and email
Cons
  • Mammotion's own US store showed the tall-cut H variants sold out at check time; the ranked S version was stocked at Amazon and Northern Tool
  • 4G connectivity is free for the first year, then a paid subscription
  • Premium price — roughly double the wire-free models below it

Segway Navimow X350

AmRank Score 84 $2,799

Best for: Big, mostly open lawns up to 1.5 acres that need long runtime and fast recharging more than extreme slope ability

EFLS 3.0 network RTK + visionUp to 1.5 acres50% (27°) max slope200 min per charge · 80-min recharge60 dB(A) — quietest in this list

Product review

Segway's X350 pairs network RTK with camera vision (EFLS 3.0), so there is no boundary wire and no fragile dependence on a single base-station sightline. A 200-minute runtime, an 80-minute recharge and a 60 dB(A) noise rating make it the endurance pick for large lawns, and its Animal-Friendly Mode detects pets and wildlife and reroutes around them.

The company

Navimow is Segway-Ninebot's robotic-mower brand, launched in 2021 and sold in more than 30 countries, with US sales through navimow.com and authorized dealers. The X3 series carries a 3-year warranty and 30-day returns; Navimow publishes a US support email in its product manuals and a US corporate phone number.

Pros
  • Longest runtime here (200 min) with the joint-fastest recharge (80 min)
  • Quietest rated mower in the top 10 at 60 dB(A)
  • GPS tracking with boundary and lift alarms; an expansion bay for accessories
  • 3-year warranty, 30-day returns and a US dealer network behind it
Cons
  • Two-wheel drive and a 50% slope ceiling (25% at the boundary) trail the AWD leaders
  • Minimum cut height of 2 in is high for lawns kept short
  • Weather pausing relies on forecasts rather than an onboard rain sensor

Mammotion LUBA mini 2 AWD 1500

AmRank Score 80 $1,799

Best for: Small but steep or heavily shaded yards up to 0.37 acre, where satellite-only mowers keep losing their signal

360° LiDAR + dual-camera visionUp to 0.37 acre80% (38.6°) max slope · AWD6.1Ah battery · 0.12 acre per chargeNo RTK antenna to install

Product review

The mini 2 trades the RTK antenna for a 360° LiDAR and dual AI cameras, so it navigates under tree canopy and along walls where satellite-guided mowers lose their fix — and there is nothing to install in the yard. It keeps the LUBA family's all-wheel drive and 80% slope rating, and a dedicated edge disc cuts to within about 2.1 inches of walls.

Color Options

The company

Mammotion is a Shenzhen-founded robotics company (a 2022 spin-off from AgileX Robotics) with a US base in Chino, California. Its North America store publishes a support hotline and email, and the LUBA mini 2 carries the same 3-year warranty and 30-day return terms as the flagship LUBA 2.

Pros
  • LiDAR navigation keeps working under trees and in GPS dead zones — no antenna, no wire
  • AWD traction and an 80% slope rating are rare at this size and price
  • Free 4G module with three years of data included
  • 3-year warranty and 30-day returns
Cons
  • 0.12 acre per charge means multi-charge days near its 0.37-acre ceiling
  • The $1,799 price buys the tall-cut (2.2–4.0 in) version; the low-cut S version was out of stock at check time
  • Small 7.8 in main deck makes it slow on open, simple lawns

Dreame A3 AWD Pro 3500

AmRank Score 79 $2,600

Best for: Shaded or GPS-hostile lawns up to 0.87 acre, where an RTK antenna would struggle to hold a signal

OmniSense 3.0: 3D LiDAR + AI visionUp to 0.87 acre80% (38.7°) max slope · 4WD15.8-in dual-disc deck7.5Ah battery

Product review

Dreame's A3 AWD Pro maps with a 360° 3D LiDAR and binocular AI vision — no RTK station, no wire, and no dependence on satellite signal under trees. Four-wheel drive rated for 80% slopes, a 15.8-inch dual-disc deck and edge discs reaching within 1.2 inches of borders make it the strongest hardware package here for difficult mid-size lawns.

Color Options

The company

Dreame is a Chinese smart-home robotics company in the Xiaomi ecosystem, best known for robot vacuums, and it sells the A3 line direct in the US through its yard-care store. The store publishes a US customer-service phone line and a North America support email, and the A3 AWD Pro includes three years of Dreame's Link connectivity service.

Pros
  • Signal-free LiDAR navigation that works under canopy and between buildings
  • True four-wheel drive with suspension and 2.2 in obstacle crossing
  • Widest deck in the class, with edge discs that nearly eliminate hand-trimming along walls
  • Published US support phone and email on Dreame's own store
Cons
  • Independent testers praise the hardware but report software quirks, including missed patches
  • Dreame does not publish a per-charge mowing time for its US store models
  • Promotional pricing swings hard — the same store has shown this model from about $1,900 up to its $3,200 list price within months

Husqvarna Automower 410iQ

AmRank Score 78 $2,600

EPOS RTK + radar, wire backup optionalUp to 0.5 acre (systematic)45% max slope (25% at boundary)84 min per charge · 108-min recharge1–4 in electric cut height

Product review

The 410iQ is the establishment choice: Husqvarna's EPOS satellite positioning paired with an onboard radar, systematic stripe and checkerboard patterns, and — uniquely here — the option to add boundary wire in satellite dead zones. It is slower and narrower than the spec leaders, with 84 minutes per charge and a 9.4-inch deck, but it is backed by a national dealer network and a dedicated robotics support hotline.

Color Options

The company

Husqvarna Group, founded in Sweden in 1689, effectively created this category with the first Automower in 1995 and sells through a large US dealer network. Automower owners get a dedicated US support hotline (833-991-ROBO, Mon–Fri 9am–6pm EST); the 410iQ's $2,999.99 MSRP is routinely discounted to $2,599.99 by US dealers.

Pros
  • US dealer network for service, plus a dedicated Automower hotline (833-991-ROBO)
  • Radar senses obstacles in darkness and fog, where camera systems struggle
  • Wire-backup installation option covers satellite dead zones no rival here can
  • Pattern mowing (stripes, checkerboard) and a mature zone-editing app
Cons
  • Slowest recharge in the group (108 min) paired with a modest 84-minute runtime
  • Systematic capacity is 0.5 acre, but irregular-pattern capacity drops to 0.25 acre
  • Premium street price for mid-tier hardware specifications

ECOVACS GOAT A3000 LiDAR Pro

AmRank Score 77 $2,500

Dual-LiDAR + AI camera navigationUp to 0.75 acre50% (27°) max slope≈160 min per charge · 70-min fast chargeTruEdge built-in string trimmer

Product review

The A3000 is the only mower here that also trims: a built-in TruEdge string trimmer finishes the edges and fence lines the deck cannot reach. Navigation is dual-LiDAR with an AI camera — no RTK station and no satellite dependence — and the 32V dual-disc deck was tuned for thick American grasses, with a 70-minute fast charge keeping downtime short.

The company

ECOVACS Robotics, founded in Suzhou in 1998 and listed in Shanghai, is one of the world's largest home-robotics makers (best known for DEEBOT vacuums) with a US office in San Mateo, California. Pros
  • Integrated trimmer removes most manual edging — testers measured 75–90% of it
  • LiDAR navigation works under trees and after dark
  • Fast 70-minute recharge and a long, roughly 160-minute runtime
  • Sold by ECOVACS' US store and Best Buy, with published support phone and email
Cons
  • Front-wheel drive — independent testers found it can struggle on hilly, uneven ground
  • Boundary slope limit is 20%, well below its 50% mid-lawn rating
  • Trimmer line and blades are consumables needing regular replacement

Segway Navimow i210 AWD

AmRank Score 76 $1,049

Network RTK + VisionFence cameraUp to 0.25 acre45% (24°) max slope · AWD5.1Ah battery · 120-min rechargeNetwork RTK free for life

Product review

The i210 AWD brings Segway's network RTK down to small yards: positioning corrections arrive over the cellular network — free for the life of the mower — so there is no antenna to site and no wire to bury, though an antenna kit is included as backup. All-wheel drive with zero-turn steering handles 45% slopes that strand most small mowers, and the VisionFence camera watches for pets, toys and tools.

The company

Navimow is Segway-Ninebot's robotic-mower brand, launched in 2021 and sold in more than 30 countries. The i2 AWD series sells through navimow.com and dealers with a 3-year warranty and 30-day returns; Navimow publishes a US support email in its manuals and a US corporate phone number.

Pros
  • No antenna installation — network RTK works out of the box where cellular coverage exists
  • Network RTK and its data plan are free for life, unlike rivals' paid 4G plans
  • AWD with electronic stability control, rare under $1,300
  • Same 3-year warranty and app platform as the flagship X3 series
Cons
  • The $1,049 price was a time-boxed fall sale against a $1,299 list price — expect it to move
  • 0.25-acre recommended ceiling is firm, however simple the lawn
  • 120-minute recharge is slow for a mower this size
Anthbot Genie 3000 product photo

Anthbot Genie 3000

AmRank Score 75 $899

Best for: Budget-first buyers with a fairly flat lawn up to 0.89 acre who still want wire-free RTK mowing

Full-band RTK + 4-camera visionUp to 0.89 acre45% (24°) max slope10Ah battery · 120-min fast charge≤58 dB(A) — very quiet

Product review

The Genie 3000 is the price disruptor: full-band RTK plus four AI cameras, a 10Ah battery and 30 mowing zones for an $899 sale price against a $1,599 list. It gives up all-wheel drive and cutting height — topping out at 2.76 inches — to get there, which makes it a strong fit for flatter, regularly kept lawns rather than rough or steep ones.

Color Options
Light Gray

The company

Anthbot is a young smart-yard robotics company that launched the Genie line in 2025 and sells direct in the US and Europe. It publishes a support email ([email protected]), backs the Genie with a 3-year warranty and 30-day returns, and holds TÜV safety certification for the mower.

Pros
  • Lowest price in the ranked ten by a wide margin, with taxes and shipping included
  • 3-year warranty and 30-day returns, unusual at this price
  • Anti-theft alarm and digital fence, with a year of 4G included
  • Quiet at ≤58 dB(A), and TÜV safety certified
Cons
  • Rear-wheel drive only — the 45% slope rating will be optimistic on wet grass
  • Cut height caps at 2.76 in, too low for tall fescue in summer
  • App polish trails the leaders, and US support is email/chat only — no published phone

Yarbo Y40 Core + Lawn Mower Pro Module

AmRank Score 74 $5,999

Local RTK via Yarbo Data CenterUp to 6 acres maintained70% (35°) max slope · tracked drive≈4 hrs per charge20-in deck · dual 300W motors

Product review

Yarbo is not just a mower — it is a tracked yard robot whose Core swaps modules for mowing, snow blowing and leaf clearing. The Lawn Mower Pro pairs dual 300W motors and a 20-inch deck with a local RTK Data Center that works with no network connection at all, and Yarbo rates the combination for properties of 2–6 acres, mowing up to 1.7 acres a day.

Color Options

The company

Yarbo sells its modular yard robots direct from yarbo.com and staffs 24/7 support by phone (+1 631-818-1850) and email. The Core platform launched with snow-blower, lawn-mower and blower modules; the mower bundle carries a 2-year warranty, extendable to 5, and 30-day returns.

Pros
  • The only modular, year-round platform in this list
  • Tracked drive and a 70% slope rating handle ground nothing else here attempts
  • Local RTK keeps working with no internet or cellular connection
  • 24/7 support with a published US phone number and email
Cons
  • $5,999 before any additional modules — the most expensive way to mow here
  • 2-year warranty is short for the price (an extension to 5 years costs extra)
  • Young company, and the owner base is still small compared with the established brands

Sunseeker Elite X7 Gen 2

Best for: Hilly, complex yards up to 0.75 acre that need AWD traction and rear steering that won't tear the turf

AONavi RTK + VSLAM 2.0 visionUp to 0.75 acre70% (35°) max slope · AWD14-in floating dual discs10Ah battery

Product review

The X7 Gen 2 combines RTK positioning with VSLAM 2.0 visual mapping, all-wheel drive with active rear steering, and floating dual discs that follow dips and rises in the lawn. It is rated for 70% slopes and mows after dark with night vision and an LED headlight — flagship hardware, though GPS anti-theft tracking is an optional module on this trim rather than standard equipment.

Color Options

The company

Sunseeker is an outdoor-robotics maker with a North America operation in Indian Trail, North Carolina, selling through its own US store, Lowe's and dealers. It publishes a US support hotline (1-833-822-0146) and support email, and covers the X7 Gen 2 with a 2-year warranty.

Pros
  • AWD plus active rear steering gives traction without scuffing turf in turns
  • Floating discs keep the cut even on wavy, uneven lawns
  • Night-vision mowing with an LED headlight
  • Published US support hotline and email; 2-year warranty
Cons
  • Sunseeker's own US store showed out of stock at check time (in stock at US dealer SmartBay)
  • The 4G-GPS anti-theft module is an optional extra on this trim
  • Sunseeker does not publish a per-charge mowing time

The verdict

The Mammotion LUBA 2 AWD 5000X takes #1 as the most complete mower here: all-wheel-drive traction on 80% slopes, a 190-minute runtime, the widest deck in the field and a 3-year warranty at $2,999. Our AmRank Top Pick is the #2 Segway Navimow X350: the large-lawn endurance pick, covering up to 1.5 acres with long runtime and fast recharging at $2,799. At the other end of the price ladder, the #8 Anthbot Genie 3000 delivers the wire-free RTK experience most lawns actually need — 0.89 acre, four-camera vision, a 3-year warranty — for $899, and its compromises (rear-wheel drive, a 2.76-inch cut ceiling) only bite on steep or tall-fescue lawns. The LUBA mini 2 and Dreame A3 AWD Pro solve shaded yards with LiDAR, and Husqvarna's 410iQ remains the choice when a local dealer matters more than a spec sheet.

Questions, answered

Can a robot mower really handle my sloped yard?

Yes, within its rating — and the rating needs translating. Slope figures are percent grade, not degrees: the 80% ratings in this list equal about 39°, the 50% models about 27°, and the 45% models about 24°. Two cautions matter more than the headline number. Boundary ratings run lower than mid-lawn ratings — the Husqvarna 410iQ allows 45% mid-lawn but only 25% where it turns at the edge — and wet grass quietly subtracts traction, which is why rear-wheel-drive mowers like the Anthbot Genie 3000 struggle on damp slopes their numbers say they should climb. If any part of your lawn beats about 35% — a steep front bank, a drainage swale — buy all-wheel drive (the LUBA 2, LUBA mini 2, Dreame A3 or Sunseeker X7) and let the mower work across the slope rather than straight up it.

My front yard is separated from the back by a driveway. Will one mower do both?

Usually yes, but it depends on the mower's zones and on physics. Most models here manage multiple zones, yet the mower still needs a drivable path between them — a gate left open, a gap in the fence, or a strip it can cross. If no path exists, you carry it: the smaller models (LUBA mini 2, Navimow i210 AWD) are a one-person lift, while the 40-plus-pound flagships are a two-person chore you will repeat twice a week in season. Front yards also raise the theft question (next answer) and the edge question: sidewalk strips look best with an edge-cutting model — the ECOVACS A3000's built-in trimmer, or the close-cutting edge discs on the Dreame A3 and LUBA mini 2.

What stops someone from just picking it up and walking off?

Three layers, and together they make a stolen mower nearly worthless. Every ranked model locks to your account and demands a PIN before it will run for anyone else, and most add lift alarms that sound the moment the mower is picked up. GPS tracking — standard on the LUBA 2, Navimow X350, Husqvarna 410iQ and Yarbo, an optional module on the Sunseeker X7 Gen 2 — lets you follow it in the app, and geofence alerts fire if it leaves your yard. The practical layer still matters: a mower that docks behind the house, runs while you are home, and is noted on your homeowner's policy is far safer than one living on an open front lawn overnight.

We have dogs. Is a robot mower safe around pets?

The current generation is built for exactly this. The vision-equipped models — Navimow's Animal-Friendly Mode, and the camera and LiDAR obstacle systems on the Mammotion, Dreame, ECOVACS and Anthbot mowers — detect animals and reroute around them rather than bumping through. The blades are small pivoting discs that stop when the mower is lifted or tilted, a very different risk profile from a walk-behind mower's fixed blade. Two honest caveats: supervise the first few runs to see how your dog reacts (some chase the mower, and a chased mower cuts badly), and schedule mowing outside prime yard time until everyone is used to each other. Pet waste and burrowing wildlife remain things the mower avoids, not solves.

What happens in fall, when the lawn is covered in leaves?

Light, dry leaf cover is fine — frequent passes mulch it into the lawn much like a mulching mower, and many owners treat fall mowing as their leaf cleanup. Thick or wet leaf mats are different: they hide obstacles from cameras, mat down grass the blades then miss, and turn slopes slippery enough to defeat even AWD traction ratings. The workable routine is to clear heavy accumulation first (Yarbo's leaf-blower module exists precisely for this pairing), raise the cut height a notch for the season, and let the mower keep up with daily fall rather than weekly sessions. If your yard sits under oaks or maples that drop everything in two weeks, plan on doing the heavy clear yourself and letting the robot handle the long tail.

Each price is the current verified US selling price of the exact ranked variant named in the record — for example the 1.25-acre S (low-cut) version of the LUBA 2 AWD, the 3,500 m² variant of the Dreame A3 AWD Pro, the tall-cut High version of the LUBA mini 2, and the AWD variant of the Navimow i210 — checked on the seller's own page on October 15, 2026 (the manufacturer's US store where it sells direct; otherwise the in-stock US dealer or retailer named in the research notes), rounded to whole dollars. Sale prices are recorded as found and flagged per product; the Navimow i210 AWD's $1,049 was a time-boxed fall sale against a $1,299 list price. Prices are typical US street prices observed during research and change often — check the retailer for the current price.
